1. Seth¹ Catlin was born circa 1735 in Somerset Co., Maryland, . It has been proven by others that Seth was born in 1735 in Maryland. The date is about right based on other facts. The place is well documented. There is also evidence that his father may be Robert Catlin b. ca 1714 and resided in Delaware in the early 1700s. Seth migrated to Kentucky from Delaware with his family and several others in the year 1789 and he does show up in the 1795 census produced by T.L.C. He married Elizabeth (_____) circa 1755 in Delaware. He died in 1804 in Washington Co., Kentucky, . His will was written Nov 5, 1797 and proved April 2, 1804 in Washington Co., Kentucky. It is recorded in Will Book A, page 403. The will mentions his wife and children by name. Seth is listed in the 1800 Census of Washington Co.¹^,²
He left a will in November, 1797 in Washington Co., Kentucky.²

10. Theodore² Catlin (Seth¹)¹^,¹^,¹ was born circa 1759 in Kent Co., Delaware.¹ He married Ruth Tomlin . The proof of this marriage was in a deed to sell land owned by Theodore and "his wife Ruth" in the year 1797 back in Delaware. Gary Young provided that information. He died in 1846 in Washington Co., Kentucky, . Theodore is listed in the 1840 Census with a wife and his age is in the 80 to 90 bracket. His wife is in the 60 - 70 bracket. He does not appear in the 1850 Census. A review of Tax Lists in the 1840s by researcher Gary E. Young show him in 1846 but not 1847.¹^,⁴

Scott is from her 1st marriage and her maiden name has been reported to be Landess.

12. ii. Traney Catlin was born on January 10, 1796. She married John Gribben on April 17, 1817 in Washington Co., Kentucky. She died on March 21, 1883 in Johnson Co., Indiana, at age 87.
