Windsor and Abner Pipes: Their Known Male Descendants Through the Civil War period.

This list is an attempt to identify all descendants of the Louisiana and Mississippi family who served in the Civil War. All known male children are listed and those who are known to have served are marked with their unit. Those who are of the correct age to have served are listed as "possibles" with their places of residence. Notice that I did not use the same generation numbers as Mrs. Ellsberry, I started this table with Windsor and Abner as the first generation, whereas she had them as the second generation behind John Pipes Sr.

The Page numbers listed after the (birth-death) dates refer to the page in Mrs. Ellsberry's book titled "Windsor and Abner Pipes" where that person can be found. I have listed the unit the person served with and also the persons who are possibly of the correct age to have served somewhere. I have also added some names from information sent by other family members. As you can see, there is much more data to gather on some of the descendants. Please feel free to help me out with additional names and dates of children if they fit in this time period.
