Phillip Pipes, a son of John Pipes Sr., traveled from Morris Co., New Jersey, where he was probably born, to Surry Co., N. Carolina, to Lincoln and Mercer Co., Kentucky to Wayne Co., Kentucky, to Limestone Co., Alabama. He appears in Limestone between 1820 and 1830 and must have died there before 1840. Phillip left a son, John and several Daughters who raised their families in Limestone County. John left several children who raised families in Limestone Co. for many years before many of them moved on to Texas and Tennessee and Arkansas.
